Goose foie gras is the connoisseur's choice: a little richer, denser and more refined than duck. Ours is made in France from whole lobes and presented in a traditional Kilner jar. If you have only tried duck, it is well worth comparing the two.

To open, pull the orange rubber tab until you hear the vacuum release and the glass lid will lift away easily. Serve with toasted brioche, Sauternes jelly or fig chutney, and a chilled glass of Sauternes.
Please refrigerate foie gras on arrival and take it out of the fridge about 20 minutes before serving.

Storage
- Put the jar straight into the fridge on arrival and keep it chilled until serving.
- Leave the vacuum seal intact until you open it for the table.
- Once opened, cover the foie gras closely and return it to the fridge, finishing it soon.
- Keep it away from strong-smelling foods, as the fat readily picks up other flavours.
Serving
- Remove the jar from the fridge about 20 minutes before serving.
- To open, pull the orange rubber tab until you hear the vacuum release and the glass lid lifts away.
- Cut slices of about 40g each with a hot, dry knife; the jar gives around four starters.
- Serve with toasted brioche and Sauternes jelly or fig chutney.
- Pour a chilled glass of Sauternes alongside.

Our caviar lasts for 3-6 months, but once opened should be consumed within 3-4 days.
