Storage
- Keep the jar in a cool, dry cupboard away from direct sunlight and the oven.
- There is no need to refrigerate it, even after opening, as cold can dull the truffle aroma and thicken the honey.
- Close the lid firmly after each use so the truffle scent stays in the jar.
- Use a clean, dry spoon every time to keep moisture and crumbs out.
- Unopened, it has an 18 month shelf life, so it is a good one to keep in the larder.
Serving
- Drizzle a teaspoon over shavings of Parmesan with slices of ripe pear.
- Spoon a little over a wedge of blue cheese or a board of charcuterie just before serving.
- Whisk into a vinaigrette or brush onto a glaze for roast meats and vegetables in the last few minutes of cooking.
- Try it on cheese on toast: grill until bubbling, then add a thin trickle of the honey.
- Serve at room temperature so the honey flows easily and the truffle aroma comes through.

Questions
White Truffle Honey 120g: your questions answered
Anything else you would like to know? Our team is always happy to help.
What do you eat truffle honey with?
It is at its best with cheese, particularly Parmesan with pear, blue cheese and aged hard cheeses, and with charcuterie. It also works well in salad dressings, meat glazes and drizzled over cheese on toast.
Does truffle honey need to be kept in the fridge?
No. Keep it in a cool, dry cupboard with the lid tightly closed. Refrigerating honey thickens it and can mute the truffle aroma.
Why does this truffle honey not go hard?
It is made with acacia honey, which is naturally slow to crystallise, so it stays smooth and pourable for much longer than most honeys.
Is truffle honey suitable for vegetarians?
Yes. It is vegetarian, gluten free, nut free and kosher (KLBD). As with all honey, it is not suitable for infants under 12 months.
