About the pairing
Our Oscietra comes from an outdoor farm in northern Italy and has a mellow, nutty flavour with a long finish. Pol Roger, still family owned, blends equal parts Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier with a generous share of aged reserve wines, which gives it a finesse that suits caviar perfectly.
The black gift box closes with a magnetic seal, so the caviar can be taken out and refrigerated on arrival and the gift put back together later.

Storage
- Take the caviar out of the box on arrival and refrigerate it at 0 to 4°C; the magnetic seal lets you close the gift up again.
- Keep the Champagne somewhere cool and dark, lying on its side if it will be a while before opening.
- Chill the Champagne in the fridge for about three hours, or in an ice bucket for 20 to 30 minutes, before serving.
- Once the caviar tin is opened, eat it within 48 hours.
Serving
- Serve the Pol Roger at 7 to 9°C in tulip or white wine glasses rather than wide coupes.
- Take the caviar out about ten minutes before serving and set the tin on crushed ice.
- Use a mother of pearl or horn spoon, and offer warm blinis with crème fraîche alongside.
- Allow the 30g tin for two, or choose 125g to share with a small group.

We aim to process and dispatch the majority of your caviar orders same-day when placed before 3PM Monday to Thursday, and 92% of them will be delivered on the next working day.
Orders after 3PM on Thursday will likely be dispatched the following working day (usually Monday) so if you need your order urgently please do get in touch with us. We pack all orders with multiple ice packs to ensure they arrive fresh and chilled so don't worry if it takes an extra day to arrive.
Same-day delivery is available in some London areas.
Our caviar lasts for 3-6 months, but once opened should be consumed within 3-4 days.

The majority of our orders are delivered via Royal Mail's Tracked 24 service (up to the value of £250), with the rest going via DHL Domestic Express or Royal Mail Special Delivery.
