Care
- Wash by hand in warm soapy water straight after use, then rinse.
- Never put the spoon in the dishwasher, as heat and detergent will damage the shell.
- Dry gently with a soft cloth rather than leaving it to drain.
- Avoid soaking, and keep it away from lemon juice and vinegar, which can dull the natural lustre.
- Store wrapped in a soft cloth or in a box so it does not knock against metal cutlery.
How to use it
- Use the small 6cm spoon to taste caviar directly, or to place a little on the back of the hand in the traditional way.
- Use the large 12cm spoon to serve caviar from the tin or bowl onto blinis or plates.
- Lift the eggs gently from the edge of the tin rather than pressing down, to avoid crushing them.
- Give each guest their own small spoon when serving a tin to share.
- Pair with our glass caviar bowls and a cold glass of Champagne or vodka.
