- Keep the caviar sealed until serving, and eat each tin within 48 hours once opened.
- Check the date on the blinis and give the gift soon, as blinis do not keep for long.
- Hand wash the glass bowl; wipe mother of pearl or horn spoons with warm water and dry them straight away, never soaking them.
Serving
- Fill the outer part of the glass bowl with crushed ice and sit the caviar on top about ten minutes after it leaves the fridge.
- Taste the blue Beluga tin first, then the green Oscietra, and save the red Sevruga for last.
- Warm the blinis and serve them with crème fraîche.
- Pair with a dry Champagne at 7 to 9°C or vodka straight from the freezer.
- With the 250g set, use the two cool bags to carry the caviar if you are serving it elsewhere.
