Conservas, as the Spanish and Portuguese call them, have long been prized on the Continent. These are made in small batches by a craft cannery in Dorset and are some of the best tinned fish we have tasted. The cannery also handles molluscs, nuts and milk, so traces may be present.

Storage
- Store unopened in the larder or a kitchen cupboard, away from heat.
- Use by the best before date on the tin.
- After opening, tip the contents into a lidded dish, chill and finish within a day or two.
Serving
- Toss the trout and its chilli oil through hot spaghetti with lemon zest and parsley for a ten-minute supper.
- Pile onto sourdough toast, or spoon over soft scrambled eggs.
- The chilli is gentle, so it works for most palates; add a pinch of flakes if you want more heat.
- Serve at room temperature, or warm it through briefly in pasta rather than cooking it hard.

Delivery and returns
We aim to process and dispatch the majority of your caviar orders same-day when placed before 3PM Monday to Thursday, and 92% of them will be delivered on the next working day.
Orders after 3PM on Thursday will likely be dispatched the following working day (usually Monday) so if you need your order urgently please do get in touch with us. We pack all orders with multiple ice packs to ensure they arrive fresh and chilled so don't worry if it takes an extra day to arrive.
Same-day delivery is available in some London areas.
Our caviar lasts for 3-6 months, but once opened should be consumed within 3-4 days.
