About Keta Salmon Caviar 100g

Red caviar at its very best. Keta is roe from the wild chum salmon, caught in Alaskan waters on the way to their spawning grounds, and it is widely regarded as the finest of all salmon caviars. This is Grade 1, which means the largest, brightest and most even eggs.

The colour is a vivid red orange and the eggs are big enough to pop properly on the tongue, releasing a clean, salty burst of the ocean. The roe is pasteurised in its glass jar, which lengthens its life and gives the eggs that satisfying snap. It is a firm favourite in our office and a lovely, affordable way to bring colour and drama to a plate.
